Welcome to the 2023 Trail Jamboree.
We're looking forward to another great year.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW:

Jamboree Merchandise
2022 Trail Jamboree preordered merchandise is available to be picked up at the Jamboree registration booth. At the event, the Jamboree line of merchandise will be available. These items include the Jamboree logo, but the year is not included. See the PNW Ways and Means trailer.

Camping:
The Jamboree camping is in an open field; there are some trees for shade. Pay showers, flush toilets, potable water and port-a-potties are available on-site. There are no RV hook-ups. However, RV dump service will be available Wednesday and Friday of the event for a fee. Pre-Camping available beginning 4:00pm on Wednesday, July 7th.
Please note that the park opens for the Jamboree on Wednesday. If you arrive earlier, Park staff will collect an additional camping fee of $15 per camping unit per night.

Weather:
While the Yakima area's average temperatures in July range from about 50-98°, be prepared for all types of weather. Check the local forecast as the event nears to help make sure you are adequately prepared.

There are several businesses in the area that may meet your needs for groceries, gas, phones, restaurants, cabins, RV hookups, motels, propane, showers and laundry.

Vehicle Requirements:
BRING THE INSURANCE CARD FOR YOUR TRAIL VEHICLE! PROOF OF INSURANCE IS REQUIRED! NO PROOF OF INSURANCE, NO DRIVING ON THE TRAIL! NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

All trail vehicles will undergo a technical inspection for the following*:

  • General condition tech (steering, brakes, lights);
  • Primary elements for street legal status (licensed, insured, current registration, turn signals, rear view mirrors, working lights, exhaust system);
  • Dimension requirements as noted in trail descriptions.
  • USFS requires spark arrestor on ALL vehicles. Glass packs or any straight-through mufflers that do not include spark arrestor are not allowed.

Vehicles not meeting minimum requirements will not be allowed on the trail.

*Rimrock trip vehicles will be subject to additional inspection: lockers, winch and 6 point roll cage.

Rules:
The Trail Jamboree rules are designed to make the event safer and more enjoyable for all. They will be enforced. The rules are available online and in the hard-copy upon request. By attending the event you admit you have read the rules and agree to abide by them.

Calendar of Events:
A tentative calendar of events is available online and in the hard-copy registration materials. Final copies will be distributed at Jamboree.
Door prizes will be given away nightly at the Drivers Meeting and before the dance on Saturday night. Each registered driver receives a ticket for the door prize drawings. Everyone has an equal chance of winning.
A raffle drawing will be held on Friday evening. Raffle tickets can be purchased up until the drawing. Tickets are $1.00 each. Proceeds of the raffles will be split between the PNW4WDA and announced at the Jamboree.
In addition to the merchandise raffle, on Friday there is a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be split between the winner and the PNW4WDA.
