SUV Event 2006

The first rule of 4-wheeling is never go alone. But that is only one reason
the PNW4WDA started the SUV event.
This run is set up so people new to the sport, families looking for someone
to hit the trails with, or people new to the area would have somewhere to start.
So bring your 4-wheel drive vehicle and let us show you two different areas
and styles of off road excitement. Trails are matched to your vehicle and
experience and everyone loves to play in the sandbox.
This year's event is scheduled for June 23rd, 24th,
25th with camping at the Tillamook RV park next to the Air Museum.
Motels, for those in need, are just 10 minutes away as camping is primitive with porta-potties. There is plenty of room for RVs and tent camping.
Registration fee is $80.00 for non-PNW members, $50.00 for PNW members.
Additional passengers 12 and over are $35.00 each. Children under 12 are $5.00 each.
All vehicles must be licensed and insured, registered owners and their guests
only. Oregon OHV tags are available on site and needed to drive
on trails and the dunes.
Other required vehicle equipment includes 2lb fire extinguisher, short
handled shovel, a 9 ft. marker flag (for the dunes and available on site or at the Sand
Lake store), and a CB is highly recommended.
