OPERATION SHORE PATROL (OSP)
Founded in 1971 by the PNW4WDA and supported by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, Dept. of Ecology and The Ocean Conservancy, Operation Shore Patrol is an annual clean up of Washington State coastline beaches. Through continued support of local, regional and national organizations this initiative has been able to continually rid our beaches of litter and debris that accumulates from public use, illegal dumping and from the Pacific Ocean.
This event is typically hosted in 3 different regions in the month of September. Please reach out to your region director for more information about OSP or click below.
Every year the PNW4WDA holds a Fall meeting for our delegates to have an audience with our Board of Directors and fellow delegates. This gives a unique opportunity to exchange information about the future of our association. This meeting is also a chance to submit any By-Law or Competition Rule change proposals in time for voting at our Winter Convention.
This event occurs on the second Saturday of September each year. More details will be posted on the Calendar when available.
FALL DELEGATES MEETING
Each February, the PNW4WDA gathers for their Annual Winter Convention. For 60 years the Association has supported motorized recreation and many of the projects we support are decided upon at this annual meeting. The event is open to all members of the association and their guests. Friday night attendees enjoy socializing, games and food provided by the event sponsors and Saturday follows with our annual business meeting. Our Board Members report on their specific positions/news. Delegates make decisions on the direction of the association and elect officers for the following year. To finish up this great weekend, the hosting club provides a banquet and entertainment Saturday night.
