WHAT IS OPERATION SHORE PATROL (OSP)?

Are you looking for a way to make a difference and protect the environment for our future generations? Look no further than the Ocean Shore Patrol! Founded in 1971 by the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association (PNW4WDA), this annual clean-up effort is supported by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Department of Ecology, and The Ocean Conservancy.

By joining forces with local, regional, and national organizations, the Ocean Shore Patrol has been able to effectively tackle the litter and debris that accumulates on our Washington State coastline beaches due to public use and illegal dumping, as well as from the Pacific Ocean itself.

The PNW4WDA is dedicated to preserving the environment for future generations, and recognizes the need for an organized effort to keep our beaches clean. Since 1960, the PNW4WDA has been a leader in educating the public on land issues through work parties, clean-ups, rallies, and jamborees. But these events would not be possible without the generous support of volunteers and sponsors.

So why not join the movement and make a difference in your community? Not only will you be helping to protect the environment, but you'll also be part of a community of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to making the world a better place.
