2024 TRAIL JAMBOREE

TRAIL JAMBOREE RULES

All good things still have rules! These rules are designed to make the event safer and more enjoyable for all who attend. They will be enforced.

 
General Rules:
  1. All vehicles registered for the Jamboree must be street legal, licensed, insured and equipped as prescribed for specific trips prior to the mandatory technical inspection. Proof of insurance is required - no exceptions.

  2. The PNW is not responsible for accidents, damage, or injury to persons or vehicles. All drivers must be licensed and are responsible for the occupants of that vehicle. All occupants must be registered, paid for, and sign a waiver.

  3. Registration stickers shall be clearly visible on the front passenger side of registered vehicles during the entire Jamboree.

  4. Only registered vehicles shall be permitted to travel on trails included in the Jamboree.

  5. Running a non-assigned trail anytime during Jamboree may result in disqualification from participation during this and future Jamborees, as it jeopardizes our permit.

  6. Make sure you always maintain visual contact with the vehicle behind you on trail rides. Stop and wait at intersections for the vehicle behind you.

  7. Weapons of any kind are not permitted in vehicles or at camp.

  8. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on trails.

  9. Dogs are discouraged, but if brought must be on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for cleanup of all droppings. Service animals only are allowed in the vendor/stage area during mealtimes.

  10. The campsite opens to participants on Tuesday, unless additional camping fees are paid (Additional nights, beginning the Sunday prior to Jamboree are $20.00 per night payable at registration).

  11. Please minimize driving in campground. All drivers must be licensed.5 MPH speed limit will be enforced in camp.

  12. No ATV (motorcycles, quads, SxS, etc.) riding in the campground.

  13. No vehicles, bicycles or dogs allowed on grass in booth/stage area. As stated above, no animals will be allowed in the booth/stage area during meal times (exception service animals).

  14. The campsite gate will be unmanned 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM beginning on Tuesday, July 9th.

  15. Drones will be used during Trail Jamboree.

  16. No Side by Sides are allowed at Trail Jamboree (Campground and/or Trails) per our permit.

  17. GMRS Radios are the authorized form of communication for Trail Jamboree.

  18. The emergency frequency for the GMRS radios will be channel 22 or 462.725, we have a Repeater station set up to monitor that frequency.

  19. You are responsible for your conduct and the conduct of your guests and registered party.

Technical Inspection:

  • General condition tech (steering, brakes on all wheels, lights).

  • Primary elements for street legal status (licensed, current registration, turn signals, rear view mirrors, working lights, exhaust system).

  • Dimension requirements as noted in trail descriptions.

 

The following items are not required, but it is a good idea to carry them with you, whenever you are on the trail:

  • FIRE EXTINGUISHER

  • SPARE TIRE

  • TOW HOOKS (FRONT AND REAR)

  • TOW STRAPS

  • HI-LIFT JACK

  • GMRS RADIO

  • FIRST AID KIT

Vehicles not meeting minimum requirements will not be allowed on the trail.

 

*Rimrock trip vehicles will be subject to additional inspection: 6 point roll cage, lockers front & rear, winch, oversized/aggressive tires, GMRS, spare parts & an experienced driver.

USFS requires spark arrestor on ALL vehicles.  Glass packs or any straight-through mufflers that do not include spark arrestor certification are not allowed.

Campground Rules

1.    No wood campfires in the camping area.
2.    Please conserve space. Park trailers and extra vehicles in spots unusable for camping.
3.    Leave access roads and Fire Lanes open.
4.    The campground will be full, please reserve only as much space as needed.
5.    Do not block access to campsites. Vehicles blocking access will be asked to move or towed at the owner’s expense.
6.    A 24x24 platform must be used under the leveling jacks for the RVs... to keep them from damaging the lawn and sprinkler system.
7.    Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM for generators, music, and general noise. Please respect your neighbors - there are early trail departure times.

Guest Rules

1.    Guest meals are available for $25.00 per person, per meal at registration on a limited basis. 
2.    Guests must be sponsored by and are the responsibility of a Host or Participant.
3.    Guests may not bring a trail vehicle or participate in trail runs.
4.    Guests must abide by all rules.
5.    Thursday, public has been invited from 9am-4pm for the vendor day.
